It’s not entirely their fault. Our Seattle Seahawks, and the Los Angeles Chargers, had to play each other as well as a flag-happy group of referees. Uneven play from the offense was interspersed with timely explosive plays, which helped our squad pad a sizable lead at halftime. The Bolts did claw their way back tho, picking apart the defense slowly and finding 10 4th quarter points to make the game closer than it really was. Ultimately, we made it out alive, notching our third victory on the season,
setting up an all-important interdivisional match-up against the San Francisco 49ers next weekend. Again, it is early in the 2026 season and we have yet to know the fate of our beloved ‘Hawks. And again, we have some things to clean up. OC Fleury is still working out his stratagem, but seemed to find some nice plays for Emmanuel Wilson, who turned in quite an overall performance on the day. Rashid Shaheed got involved in the offense finally, but not through the air. The Dark Side gave up some points, but closed it out in the end. Not perfect. Oh, well. You can’t have everything you want. How did yall feel about yesterday’s game? Where do you require improvement from our team? Were you as frustrated with the refs as the rest of us? How are you feeling about our upcoming tilt against the 49ers? Let us know in the comments below. Thanks for being here. Go, ‘Hawks!
