Good morning, New York Giants fans! Here are the stories you need to know about after Day of Giants training camp.
5 QBs Highlight The NFL’s 12 Biggest Comeback Candidates For 2026 | FOX Sports
6. Malik Nabers, WR New York Giants. The Giants hope to have Nabers, who tore his ACL and meniscus in Week 4, ready for the start of the season. With a promising young quarterback in Jaxson Dart, the former LSU star receiver could put together a season that rivals or exceeds his standout rookie campaign in 2024 (109 catches, 1,204 yards, 7 TDs).

New York Giants’ Cam Skattebo ‘good to go’ as training camp opens | USAToday.com
“Yeah, he’s good to go,” Schoen told reporters. “I’m sure you guys saw the video. Yeah, he’s been busting his tail. That video shows a little bit of how good his rehab’s been, that he’s able to not land it and still be okay. So yeah, he’ll be out here. He’ll be ready to go today, and he’ll be doing everything.”
The video Schoen was referring to was from last week’s Fanatics Fest in New York, where Skattebo did a backflip on stage and nearly wiped out.
“He’s a young man, and so he’s in the spotlight and in New York City, and you’ve got to be conscious of your actions, not only from a health standpoint but a perception standpoint,” Schoen said. “But he knows, I’d rather him not do that, especially this close to camp. But also a testament to, you know, how good of a job our training staff and medical staff did in terms of getting him back and ready to go here as we start camp.”
There’s a subtle difference with ‘reenergized’ John Harbaugh as he begins new Giants chapter | New York Post
Chris Horton has witnessed that for the past 12 years on Harbaugh’s staff, the past six as the Ravens special teams coordinator. It was wholly expected that Harbaugh would pluck Horton out of Baltimore and he did, adding the title of assistant head coach to his Giants job description. Horton, 41, always gets a kick out of watching and hearing Harbaugh at the annual introductory team meeting. This time around, standing in front of the Giants for the first time to open up the spring offseason workout program, Horton noticed a subtle difference.
“Did I see a little more juice, more pop?’’ Horton said. “He’s excited. We’re excited. You know, we’re excited to be here. We’re the New York Football Giants. We’re all excited to be here. He was ready to go. He was fired up. It was an awesome team meeting.’’
Why the Giants are in West Virginia and how they turned a resort into a home away from home | The Athletic
Largely, because The Greenbrier has proven up to the task many times before. In 2014, then-New Orleans Saints coach Sean Payton worked with the resort to establish a facility equipped for an NFL training camp. In the years since, the Denver Broncos, Houston Texans, Cleveland Browns, San Francisco 49ers, New England Patriots and Arizona Cardinals have used the facility for training camp or other parts of the NFL season. This year, the venue even hosted Iraq’s national soccer team as part of the World Cup. Rosburg spoke with Abir Chaudhry, the Browns’ director of team logistics and operations, to learn how the team got the most out of its time at The Greenbrier, from small details like outfitting player lounges and commute patterns to the big-picture planning of making the excursion as easy as possible.
During training camp, the Giants will stay at The Greenbrier Hotel. But the main benefit isn’t the luxury lodging; it’s what’s down the road from the historic hotel. Not only do the Giants have access to two grass fields and a FieldTurf field, but also fully equipped meeting rooms, offices, a training room and an on-site weight room, which is a big change from the Giants’ Albany days, when team meetings were held in college classrooms. They also don’t have to bring lockers or weights to set up a weight room.
1 Reason Every NFL Team Shouldn’t Be Overlooked in 2026 | Bleacher Report
New York Giants: Realizing Their Collective Talent. The New York Giants are ready to emerge as a legitimate Super Bowl threat on the heels of a transformative offseason. With John Harbaugh taking over as head coach, the stage is set for this potential-laden squad to put all its high-upside pieces together and make a run. The team has an enviable young offensive nucleus built around Jaxson Dart, Cam Skattebo and Malik Nabers, while the defense added a ton of veteran playmakers in free agency.
The expectations for Big Blue may be unreasonably high for a program that hasn’t won more than six games since 2022, but there is every reason to trust Harbaugh can maximize the roster’s potential and get the Giants to live up to these lofty projections.
