What is the story about?

Wednesday
is typically the day we start to look towards the next opponent. That is the Los Angeles Rams for the Tennessee Titans this week. But before we do that, there are still a few things worth noting from last week’s loss to the Denver Broncos.
- Dan Orlovsky was really impressed with Cam Ward’s debut. He went as far as to say that the Titans would have won the game if not for the drops.
- Ben Solak also had good things to say about Ward’s debut, highlighted by the fact that he did not get much help from his supporting cast.
- So much has been made of the fact that L’Jarius Sneed played all of his snaps at the beginning of the game. I’m no doctor, but it seems to me it would make sense for him to play all of his snaps at the same time because you don’t want him to warm up, cool down by standing on the sidelines for a while, and then have to get warmed up again to go back in the game. That would be asking for a soft tissue injury to happen, IMO.
- Blake Beddingfield broke down the tape from the game and pointed out that the offensive tackles didn’t play very well. That’s pretty disappointing considering the amount the Titans have invested in those guys with a big contract for Dan Moore and a first round pick for JC Latham.
- Along those lines, Bill Callahan is supposed to be an offensive line guru. I was willing to cut him some slack last year based on the guys he had to work with, but shouldn’t we start to see some progress now that you have good players across the offensive line?
