What is the story about?
The Islanders host the Devils before heading out on their annual fall California trip. The Devils are on a heater and feature new want-away former Jet Connor Hellebuyck, so they’re feeling good.
The Islanders are in a win-loss, win-loss mode, except now they’ve lost consecutive games in regulation for the first time this season. Another regulation loss tonight would create concern.
