Hansi Flick has done many great things since arriving as Barcelona coach, but one key feature has been his ability to get the best out of players.
Raphinha, Ferran Torres and Eric Garcia are just three stars who have absolutely thrived under the German coach, and it seems the plan is for Marcus Rashford to be the next, according to Diario Sport.
The word is that Flick sees Rashford as a “personal challenge” and wants to get the best out of him. Flick thinks Rashford can be a difference maker and wants to get him back
on track after a tough few years.
Rashford has made two starts and two substitute appearances for Barcelona so far, all part of Flick’s plan to build confidence, and grabbed an assist last time out against Valencia.
That performance came after a recall to the England team and a goal from the penalty spot in an impressive win for the Three Lions against Serbia.
Flick’s aim for Rashford now is for him to continue to develop and “soak up the Barca philosophy” so he can fit in seamlessly alongside the likes of Pedri and Lamine Yamal.
Rashford would surely love to turn his loan deal into a permanent move at the end of the season but that will only happen if Flick can get the very best out of him over the coming weeks and months,
