It’s finally here! Praise!
I feel like I say this at the beginning of every college football and basketball season, but the offseasons for each are SO LONG. Maybe some people don’t noticed because they’re watching other sports to fill their time, but I tend to disengage from a lot of sports content — other than Mizzou — once the college basketball season wraps up. For one, it helps when you have a hundred shows to catch up on. That Netflix queue isn’t going to watch itself, people!
But I’m thankful
for the return of College Football. A return to our regular in season pattern of coverage. I like routines in my life. So embracing the grind of a season suits me well.
Mizzou is taking on Central Arkansas on Thursday, but in the meantime there is a HOST of college football during Week 0. There are a handful of teams who even play twice before some teams take a snap. I have a full list of all the games happening today, all the way through Friday night so we can keep track of what to watch, including some truly Sicko-mode content.
There are just two SEC teams in action during Week 0 and Mizzou is one of them. Auburn also travels to Baylor for a Friday evening matchup against the Bears. The Tigers are favored by 2.5 points with an O/U of 57.5. Missouri has an unofficial line of around -21.5, but typically a line on an FCS game is a late breaker.
13 others play next Saturday, and the final team — South Carolina — plays on Sunday.
