Week 4 in the 2026 NFL season features the biggest Las Vegas Raiders-Kansas City Chiefs matchup
in about a decade, with first place in the AFC West on the line. It’s early, but in true Vegas fashion, the stakes couldn’t be higher for this time of year. Also, our Silver and Black Pride Pick’em competition is heating up with three weeks in the books. On that note, let’s get to the picks!
Raiders vs. Chiefs
- Spread: KC -4.5
- O/U: 47.5
- KC ML: -220
- LV ML: +184
Holder’s picks: LV +4.5, Over 47.5, LV ML
This is a classic head versus heart pick for me. The logic side of my brain
tells me never to bet against Patrick Mahomes and the Chiefs, especially with how hot they’ve started this season. However, my head also told me that the Raiders were going to get off to a slow start this season, and that was clearly stupid. So, I’m rolling with the heart! Give me the Silver and Black, baby!
Pick’em Competition
Moving on to S&BP’s Pick’em competition, below is a look at how our writers finished last week.
- Ray Aspuria 30-18 (63%)
- Bill Williamson 19-14 (58%)
- Matt Holder 26-22 (54%)
Last week was brutal, as there were a lot of upsets throughout the league, starting with the Falcons obliterating the Packers on Thursday Night Football. Bill and I ended up going 7-9 while Ray gained a game with a steady .500 performance. With several underdogs coming out on top, treading water isn’t such a bad deal. However, I really need to pick it up and stop digging myself in a hole if I’m going to repeat as the writers’ champion.

Week 3 Top Pickers
- AElizalde87 11-5
- TV Raider 11-5
- FanSince76 11-5
- El Solo Lobo 11-5
This was a huge week for FanSince76 because not only did 76 finish as one of the four top pickers, but that also led to a two-game lead in the community standings. Of course, there’s plenty of time for something to change, but that’s a decent margin for first place at this stage. Also, we had 12 people get at least 10 games correct, which again is pretty impressive considering all of the upsets last week.
Keep up the good work and best of luck on your picks!
