Premier League action finally returns for Gameweek 12 on Saturday, November 22, after about 14 days of international break.
The first match of the gameweek kicks off at 12:30 p.m. on Saturday, so make sure
your team is set before the deadline. Here are our FPL GW12 player picks.
Goalkeeper
Roefs (£4.7m, Sunderland vs Fulham)
Roefs currently has the highest points among all FPL goalkeepers this season. He is Sunderland’s first-choice goalkeeper and is expected to start.
Sunderland sit fourth on the EPL table, and with Roefs having kept four clean sheets so far, he’s a strong pick who may secure another one against Fulham this gameweek.
Defender
Timber (£6.1m, Arsenal vs Tottenham)
Arsenal are league leaders, and Timber has been a defensive powerhouse for them.
They host Spurs at the Emirates this weekend, and with Arsenal being the team that has conceded the fewest goals so far, Timber is an excellent defensive option for GW12.
Keane (£4.5m, Manchester United vs Everton)
Keane is in outstanding form, earning 15 points against Fulham last gameweek and scoring 2 league goals so far. With 56 total points, he is a valuable defensive pick for Gameweek 12.
Senesi (£5.0m, Bournemouth vs West Ham United)
Senesi has been reliable at the back, earning 58 points this season.
Bournemouth have kept four clean sheets—winning three and drawing one—and Senesi has been integral in all those matches.
Bournemouth hosts a struggling West Ham side, giving Senesi another favorable opportunity.
Mitchell (£5.0m, Wolves vs Crystal Palace)
Mitchell has accumulated 55 points so far, including 19 in his last three matches. Crystal Palace face a Wolves team sitting bottom of the table and winless this season—giving Palace a morale boost and making Mitchell a promising defensive pick.
Midfielders
Rice (£6.9m, Arsenal vs Tottenham)
Rice remains a standout performer and a major contributor to Arsenal’s attacking threat. With 2 goals, 3 assists, and 65 points across 11 matchweeks, he’s a strong midfield selection in a big North London derby.
Caicedo (£6.1m, Burnley vs Chelsea)
Chelsea visit Burnley this gameweek in what is expected to be a favorable matchup, as Burnley have been struggling.
Caicedo should once again play a key midfield role. With 60 points, 2 goals, and 1 assist so far, he’s a player worth watching.
Gakpo (£7.5m, Liverpool vs Nottingham Forest)
Gakpo enters GW12 in great form, fresh off the international break, scoring and assisting in the Netherlands’ 4–0 win over Lithuania as they secured their 2026 World Cup spot.
He is expected to carry that momentum back into the Premier League.
Doku (£6.4m, Newcastle United vs Man City)
Doku is in incredible form, delivering standout performances for both club and country. He has been involved in six goals in his last six matches across all competitions.
His man-of-the-match display in Belgium’s recent qualifier—featuring three goal contributions—helped seal their World Cup place.
Manchester City face a tough test at St. James’ Park, but Doku is still expected to make an impact.
Forwards
Haaland (£14.9m, Newcastle United vs Man City)
Haaland remains unstoppable. He has scored 14 league goals and provided 1 assist, alongside 32 goals and 3 assists in all competitions.
With 102 FPL points after 11 matchweeks, he is the league’s top scorer by a wide margin and an essential pick.
Thiago (£6.3m, Brighton vs Brentford)
Igor Thiago is in excellent form, scoring 8 league goals, including a brace last gameweek against Newcastle. He is a strong attacking option for GW12.
Ekitike (£8.6m, Liverpool vs Nottingham Forest)
Although Liverpool has dipped slightly in form, Ekitike continues to start as the team awaits the full adaptation of record signing Alexander Isak. With 3 league goals so far, Ekitike is expected to step up again in Gameweek 12.
