How Arizona players graded during the 2025 season, per Pro Football Focus

That last game not withstanding, the 2025 season was a pretty good one for Arizona. The nine wins were an improvement of five from the year before, and on the grading front there was also a big leap according

to Pro Football Focus.

The UA graded out at 87.7 for the season, ranking 31^st out of 136 FBS schools. That’s a big leap from the 75.6 grade in 2024, when it ranked 104^th, though still down a bit from 2023 (90.8).

The Wildcats ranked 55^th on defense, at 76.2, up from 55^th last season, while their defense graded at 91.5 to tie for 14^th nationally. In 2024 that unit was 123^rd. And Arizona’s 93.2 coverage grade ranked 2^nd nationally behind Texas Tech.
