Good morning, now that the holidays are behind us, I can’t wait for the winter to be over.
The Cleveland Cavaliers are 20-16 and have the night off. They play again tomorrow at 2 pm against the Detroit Pistons.
Today’s Game of the Day
- Houston Rockets at Dallas Mavericks – 8:30 PM, Peacock, NBA League Pass
This is a Western Conference showdown worth tuning into. Most of them are, to be fair.
The Mavericks have lost four in a row going into this game. Seven of their last 10. But that doesn’t mean they aren’t a competitive team. Rookie of the Month Cooper Flagg is averaging nearly 20 points per game and
is a threat on both ends of the floor. Anthony Davis, who has worked through injuries this season, is still a double-double machine.
Then there’s the Rockets, led by Kevin Durant, who is scoring 25.4 points per game and is still one of the smoothest players in the NBA. These are two physical teams full of athletic wings who will battle it out on Peacock tonight. Don’t miss out.
