Tensions were high at today’s Judgment Day weigh-in festivities.
YouTuber-turned-professional boxer Jake Paul went face-to-face with former unified Heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua earlier today (Wed., Dec. 17, 2025) in Miami, Florida, closing out their final press conference ahead of Friday night’s main event (video replay here).
Despite Joshua’s massive size advantage, Paul attempted to keep things light during the intense staredown, cracking jokes as the British superstar loomed over him.
Check
it out below:
Paul enters the bout riding momentum. Earlier this year, he earned a unanimous decision win over Julio Cesar Chavez Jr., following that up with a high-profile victory over boxing legend Mike Tyson in a bout that became one of Netflix’s most-watched live sports broadcasts.
Joshua (28-4) hasn’t competed since suffering a knockout loss to Daniel Dubois last September (watch highlights), but his resume speaks for itself. The British superstar is a former unified Heavyweight champion, having held the WBA (Super), IBF, WBO, and IBO titles during his reign.
Prior to the Dubois loss, Joshua delivered a brutal, highlight-reel knockout of former UFC champion Francis Ngannou (watch highlights), reminding the world why he remains one of the most dangerous punchers in the division.
Another high-profile staredown took place as former Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) champions Anderson Silva and Tyron Woodley came face-to-face ahead of their own bout on the card.
Watch that below as well.
Silva will be making his fifth professional boxing appearance, entering with a 3-2 record, while Woodley is still searching for his first win in the ring after dropping two bouts to Paul.
Paul and Joshua are set to headline Judgment Day in an eight-round Netflix main event this Friday night (Dec. 19, 2025) from Kaseya Center in Miami, streaming live and exclusively on Netflix.
