What is the story about?

According to Mike Klis of 9News, the Denver Broncos have waived outside linebacker Andrew Farmer. Farmer is entering his third season after being picked up by the Los Angeles Chargers as an undrafted free agent from Lane College.
Farmer, 25, is a 6-4, 250 pound edge rusher who played eight games for the Chargers as a rookie in 2023 and spent all of last year on the Broncos practice squad. However,
Klis also noted that while Farmer was on the team’s practice squad last season, he is not expected to be among those players they bring back after the waiver period concludes.
