The Pittsburgh Steelers are getting set to clash with the Cincinnati Bengals on Thursday Night Football. Pittsburgh will look to get to 5-1 on the season and put itself in a near insurmountable lead in the AFC
North before Halloween.
There was a question, though, if the Steelers would be without one of their best defenders for the game. Safety DeShon Elliott was listed as questionable due to a personal matter and didn’t travel with the team. However, Elliott is in Cincinnati and good to go.
“Steelers S DeShon Elliott arrived today in Cincinnati and will be upgraded to not have a game status designation,” Steelers Director of Communications Burt Lauten posted on X. “He is expected to play tonight.”
The Steelers’ defense has been much better with Elliott on the field over their last two games, and will be at full strength to take on the Bengals’ terrific receiver duo of Ja’Marr Chase and Tee Higgins.
