One half of Penn State’s vaunted running back duo for the last few seasons is now officially an NFL player, as Nick Singleton was drafted by the Tennessee Titans as the 165th overall pick in the fifth round of the NFL Draft.
Throughout his four-year career in Happy Valley that was filled with ups and downs, Singleton at his best showcased a quick burst and great straight-line speed that would allow him to rip off explosive yardage out of the backfield. When it was all said and done, Nick etched his name
into the Penn State record books for total touchdowns (55) and all-purpose yards (5,586). Look for him to vie for a spot on special teams a kickoff returner and to be utilized as a running back in certain situations requiring someone with his speed.
Congrats Nick, and best of luck in Nashville!
