Kentucky Basketball’s 85-77 road win at Arkansas is even more impressive considering three of their top six or seven players didn’t play due to injuries.
Jaland Lowe (shoulder), Jayden Quaintance (knee), and Kam Williams (foot) all might be out for the season with their respective injuries.
That said, they are still vital parts of this team. Quaintance and Williams aren’t officially out for the season, either.
While Lowe and Williams didn’t make the trip to Fayetteville, they were definitely celebrating
after the win.
“Got us a little roadkill, feel me?
Those were Kam Williams’ words in reaction to the road win at Arkansas. Sharing a split screen with Lowe, Williams talked his talk from Lexington on Instagram Live.
In addition, Williams confirmed that his surgery went well.
I really hope both of these guys are back on next year’s team. Not trying to look too far ahead, but having those two guys would be a great place to start. They’re easy players to root for, and it feels like we didn’t even see the best of them this season.
