Well, the Philadelphia Eagles are playing a football game today. And they’ll be doing it without a lot of their key players. No Lane Johnson, no DeVonta Smith, no Zack Baun, no Dallas Goedert … among others.
Their Week 4 opponent, the Los Angeles Rams, are dealing with some notable absences as well (see: Myles Garrett, Aaron Donald).
But this might not be pretty for the Birds, who will be trying to pull off an upset as 3.5-point home underdogs. The Eagles have never won a game as underdogs since Nick
Sirianni became head coach. This would be a good time for first one. Righting the ship after an embarrassing Week 3 loss would feel good. It just won’t be easy.
