A tsunami warning in WWE may be in full effect, as Bronson Reed could soon be ready to make landfall.
Reed recently posted a photo of himself on social media, dressed in a T-shirt, knee pads, and wrestling boots while sitting inside a ring at WWE’s Performance Center.
Reed suffered what Michael Cole called a “distal biceps tear” during a match on the February 23 episode of Raw. A few days later, Reed revealed he had surgery and that he was on “The road back.”
Blurry Vision
Since Reed’s injury, a lot has happened
with his running buddies in The Vision that could shape his return.
Logan Paul and Austin Theory won the World Tag Team Championship in March, but then Paul tore his triceps in May during a match on Saturday Night’s Main Event. Bron Breakker, who ultimately lost his feud with Seth Rollins, filled in for Paul, losing and then regaining the titles with Theory.
With Paul on the shelf, Theory made a new friend in Maxxine Dupri, who joined The Vision after helping Theory and Breakker win back the tag titles from the Street Profits.
Meanwhile, Paul Heyman, their strategist, appears to be distancing himself from the group.
After The Vision beat up Otis and Akira Tozawa on Monday’s Raw following a distraction by Dupri, Heyman remarked, “Maxxine was so magnificent tonight — what the hell do you need me for?” before walking off.
The Vision’s future could become even more uncertain if a recent report from Self Made Pro proves true. It claims Breakker is frustrated with his character’s creative direction and allegedly “had conversations with people in the company about ejecting himself from this situation and being put in another situation creatively.”
Reed hasn’t announced a return date, keeping fans in the dark. But the bigger mystery could be what he’s returning to when the time comes.
