The Dallas Cowboys saw one of their bubble players suffer an apparent injury halfway through the second quarter of their preseason finale against the New Orleans Saints. It was Marist Liufau who had the apparent wrist injury.
The broadcast noted that Liufau was labeled as questionable to return to the game with a wrist injury. He could indeed be seen grabbing at his wrist as he took a knee on the ground and had to be tended
to. He has been one of the players on the roster bubble with regards to making the team in general, and it goes without saying that this could be a potential factor in that math.
Time will tell what his status is moving forward and into Sunday when roster cuts are due as teams have to create an initial 53-man roster. The team likes his special teams ability, but this injury could be a deciding factor depending on severity.
