According to a report from Sport1 journalist Stefan Kumberger (as captured by @iMiaSanMia), Bayern Munich is set to make a decision on whether or not Jonas Urbig will play in the coming hours, but it could extend even into tomorrow:
Although he resumed training yesterday, Jonas Urbig’s participation against Atalanta tomorrow is not yet certain. Urbig completed the necessary tests with good results – but he still experienced some discomfort, particularly upon landing after aerial maneuvers. A decision
will be made either after today’s final training or tomorrow. UEFA’s protocols regarding head injuries are decisive in matters concerning concussions.
A player may only participate in matches after completing a symptom-free training session – only then can the team doctor grant clearance. Furthermore, an examination by an independent neurological consultant is required
Given all of the checkpoints that Urbig is going to have to pass, it could be difficult for him to be clear all of thjem prior to the Champions League match against Atalanta on Wednesday. In addition, the club would have to have its own level of comfort in letting him plays as well.
After all, Urbig is the team’s future at goalkeeper.
