Ouch.
Former Season 7 Contender Series alum George Hardwick — and brother of Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) Featherweight Harry Hardwick — shared a brutal look at a mangled finger injury on social media earlier today.

There’s also a video of Hardwick
walking around with the clearly broken finger, where one of his friends jokingly pointed out the obvious.“George, your finger upside down,” one of his friends jokingly pointed out.
“How can a finger be upside down, you
f—king stupid c—t,” Hardwick responded
Safe to say… it’s bad.
While no official timetable has been announced, injuries like this typically sideline fighters for at least a few months. Thankfully, Hardwick shared an update of his finger just a few hours later.
Hardwick (14-4) was once considered one of the UK’s top rising prospects. After building an 11-1 record, he earned a shot on Contender Series but came up short, losing a one-sided decision to Abdul-Kareem Al-Selwady as a sizable -350 betting favorite.
Since then, the 29-year-old has returned to Cage Warriors, where he’s gone 2-2, briefly capturing the Lightweight title before dropping it.
