Well that escalated quickly. The Notre Dame Fighting Irish have shot back up in the polls to #16 in the country with seven games left in the regular season. While it’s definitely not the College Football Playoff rankings (the first set will be out on November 4) it’s a great place to be after the opening two losses of the season.
This is what we do now. We are watching each game as if it’s the last game of the season with everything on the line. Marcus Freeman and his Notre Dame football team know
this too, so we should expect full effort and full war each and every game.
And what a day the game against Dave Dohren and NC State is going to be in South Bend.
It’s going to be clear and sunny skies all day long with a high of 72 degrees, so it’s going to finally feel more like fall football weather in the midwest for the first time all season.
