The San Francisco 49ers injury report is out for Thursday. Dre Greenlaw, Christian McCaffrey, and Trent Williams returned after missing Wednesday’s session due to Veterans Day.
Romello Height (hand) and Mike Evans (hip) missed the second day in a row. Evans was reportedly working on the side of the field. Despite it being his first year with the 49ers, Evans qualifies as one of the players who could go a full week without practice and still suit up on Sunday. That was the case before San Francisco
suffered multiple injuries at wide receiver.
The one change that might ring the alarms is Nick Bosa, who missed Wednesday with his typical day off. However, Bosa had an injury designation for Thursday. Bosa did not participate due to a calf injury. He had previously had a knee injury, but that’s been the case since the Niners’ first injury report.
Kyle Shanahan will have more information about Bosa’s injury on Friday. You’d like to think the team is being cautious with its best player. They’ve done something similar with Evans early in the season, and Shanahan has alluded to a potential management plan for Bosa this week, especially coming off a season-ending knee injury.
