The Cleveland Browns 2026 slate of opponents was all but locked in before Christmas last year. That became official when the season ended, but everyone has been waiting for the actual schedule release. A number of international games have been announced, but not the Paris, France game that the Browns are rumored to be a part of.
Cleveland will face six new head coaches in eight games next year, and the schedule has some interesting matchups that fans are looking forward to. On Thursday, the NFL sent
out an email that talked all about the schedule release, but never reported when it would actually occur.
On Friday, we got news from Adam Schefter that the release will occur next Thursday:
The league is likely to roll out details about certain games throughout the week, which is when the Paris game could finally become official.
Overall, given the team’s poor performance last year and young roster, Cleveland is unlikely to have many primetime games. Browns fans are likely able to pencil in Sunday at 1 PM for most of the weeks. However, when will Baker Mayfield be on the schedule? Who will they play opening week? The final week? When is the bye? Do they have another international game?
A lot of questions need to be answered, and now we know they will come on 5/14, with leaks and other reports coming throughout the week.
What are the most interesting parts of the NFL schedule release for you? What is the first thing you look for when the schedule comes out
