Court McGee is calling it a career.
More than 16 years after winning Season 11 of The Ultimate Fighter (TUF), longtime welterweight veteran Court McGee will be retiring from MMA, with his 29th (and final) UFC fight going down at UFC 332 on Sat., Oct. 3, 2026 at Delta Center in Salt Lake City, Utah.
An opponent has yet to be named.
“I signed my final contract,” McGee said in an Instagram video. “I’ve negotiated my last either five or six contracts, usually four-fight deals — actually, all of them are
four-fight deals, but I signed my last fight in my last four-fight contract. I was going to retire before I had my neck surgery, and I had it, and I came back and renegotiated, and this will be my final fight in my four-fight contract.”
McGee (22-14) is coming off a unanimous decision loss to Michael Chiesa at UFC Atlanta and has dropped four of his last five.
“[I’m] 41 years old, I’ve been competing in the UFC since 2010 with the four fights in The Ultimate Fighter house, Season 11, this will make it my 29th UFC fight,” McGee added. “A little nostalgic, and it will be here in Salt Lake City. So, that’s exciting and preparations are underway for what will be my retirement fight.”
McGee struggled with consistency over his 16-year career and was never able to win more than two fights in a row following his TUF win back in 2011. That said, “Crusher” has experience against some of the best in the business, including former champions Robert Whittaker, Sean Strickland, and Carlos Condit, just to name a few.
