This may be the hottest summer in WWE history. Since the summer solstice, nine main-roster titles have changed hands 11 times. Only Roman Reigns and Liv Morgan, Raw’s respective men’s and women’s world champions, have yet to get burned.
With just over five weeks until fall officially begins, there’s still plenty of time for WWE to shake up its title scene again.
For now, here’s a look at who beat whom and what’s still to come before the autumn equinox.

Looking Ahead
As WWE’s title picture remains in flux, several storylines and a pair of world title matches are shaping up, beginning with a marquee match next week.
After 17 months sidelined by a neck injury, Kevin Owens made a dramatic return at SummerSlam, winning a No. 1 contender’s match to earn a shot at Undisputed WWE Champion CM Punk. The two meet next Friday on SmackDown in a match that has quickly turned personal.
After reaching an agreement with AAA General Manager Rey Mysterio and Raw GM Adam Pearce, Roman Reigns will defend the World Heavyweight Championship on Sept. 14 against the winner of an ongoing tournament featuring WWE’s best luchadores. The match takes place in Mexico City, giving the yet-to-be-determined challenger a home-field advantage of sorts.
Stephanie Vaquer and Becky Lynch each returned to Raw recently after a respective absence. Both women have set their sights on Women’s World Champion Liv Morgan, who tried to take out one of her challengers this past Monday on Raw, but failed.
Despite suffering an orbital injury, Interim Women’s Champion Chelsea Green was granted leniency by SmackDown GM Nick Aldis. Green has under 30 days to be cleared to compete and defend her title or face being stripped of the gold.
Trick Williams remains in hot pursuit of the United States Championship. On Friday’s SmackDown, he attacked champion Baron Corbin after Corbin successfully defended the title against Carmelo Hayes. The latest promotional poster for Sunday Night’s Main Event on Sept. 6 features Williams alongside his hype man, Lil Yachty, suggesting a rematch with Corbin at WWE’s next Peacock special could be on the horizon.
