Good morning, baseball fans!
San Francisco Giants baseball is back in the bay this weekend, so it’s time to take a look at what Oracle Park has on deck for fans who are planning to attend.
First up, Friday is going to be a busy night at the ballpark. There are two separate special events taking place. First up is Cal Poly Night, where fans with special event tickets will receive a Giants hat in the Cal Poly colors. It’s also Autism Acceptance Night with a VIP experience. Both require their own special event tickets,
and unfortunately both of those are sold out. But for those who were able to get their hands on them, the regular Autism Acceptance Night special event ticketholders will receive a Will Clark three-quarter sleeve t-shirt, and fans with VIP tickets will also receive a button up jersey. As someone in both communities, I can only hope the players and organization as a whole are more accepting of the autistic community than they were of the LGBTQIA+ community back in June.
The first 20,000 fans in attendance on Saturday will receive a vintage button-up Giants shirt giveaway.
Sunday is Backyard Baseball Day, a special event (that is not sold out) where fans will receive a Pablo Sanchez bobblehead. And if you don’t have a special event ticket, the first 20,000 fans in attendance will receive a Matt Chapman t-shirt giveaway.
