The Cardinals had a shot at returning to .500 on the season against the Giants this week but the Jameis Winston experience unfortunately did not go in their favor. Despite picking him off twice, Winston threw for 250 yards and three touchdowns to help down the Arizona 36-24 on the road.
For their efforts, CBS Sports’ John Breech gave the Cardinals a “C” grade. Here’s what he had to say about their performance:
“This game was a total meltdown for Jacoby Brissett, who threw three interceptions for the
first time in his 11-year career. Brissett had a chance at redemption with the Cardinals at New York’s 4-yard line on the final play of the game, but he threw a pick-six. The Cardinals have now given up at least 30 points in three straight games for the first time since 2019, in case you’re wondering how bad things are now going for Arizona.”
