Florida State (4-4, 1-4 ACC), back in the win column after a blowout victory over Wake Forest, is now looking to earn just its third win on the road vs. Clemson since 2005.
The Tigers (3-5, 2-4 ACC) have
already secured the program’s first home losing record (as well as worst overall ACC record) since 1998, so far having failed to earn an ACC win inside the confines of Death Valley this season.
According to FanDuel, Florida State is a 1.5-point underdog, with the over/under set at 56.5 points.

- After a 42-7 win over Wake Forest at home, Florida State begins a season-closing stretch with three of its final four games on the road, starting Saturday night at Clemson.
- Mike Norvell holds a 26-8 (.765) career record in November, including 13-3 (.813) in road games.
- The Seminoles have surpassed 400 total yards in seven straight games — the second-longest active streak in the ACC and FSU’s longest since a nine-game stretch between the 2022 and 2023 seasons. Florida State recorded 421 yards vs. Wake Forest, 444 at Stanford, 415 vs. Pitt, 404 vs. Miami, 514 at Virginia, 775 vs. Kent State, and 729 vs. East Texas A&M. Those totals are the most allowed this season by Wake Forest, Miami, Virginia, Kent State, and East Texas A&M.
- FSU ranks 1st nationally in total offense at 510.5 yards per game and features one of the country’s most explosive attacks. The Seminoles lead the nation in plays of 30-plus yards (33) and 40-plus yards (18), rank 2nd in plays of 50-plus yards (11), and 5th in plays of 60-plus yards (6).
- Florida State also ranks 1st nationally in passes of 50-plus yards (8) and 60-plus yards (5), and sits top-5 in passing plays of 30-plus yards (26, 2nd), 40-plus yards (14, 3rd), and 80-plus yards (1, 5th). On the ground, FSU ranks 7th in rushing plays of 10-plus yards (62), 11th in 20-plus yard rushes (18), and 18th in 50-plus yard rushes (3).
- Quarterback Tommy Castellanos leads the nation in yards per completion (16.77), yards per pass (10.32), and 60-yard completions (5). Micahi Danzy leads the country in plays of 50-plus yards (6).
- The Seminoles lead the ACC in yards per completion (16.44, 3rd nationally), yards per pass (10.21, 3rd), third-down percentage (.532, 6th), scoring offense (40.0 ppg, 7th), rushing offense (241.3 ypg, 8th), and passing efficiency (166.56, 8th).
- Combining third- and fourth-down conversions, FSU’s 64.2 percent success rate (70 conversions on 109 third downs) ranks 1st in the ACC and 3rd nationally, trailing only Air Force and Navy.
- Defensively, FSU ranks 2nd in the ACC in scoring defense (20.6 ppg) and sacks per game (2.75), and 3rd in total defense (317.3 ypg). The Seminoles have held four opponents under 300 total yards — the 2nd-highest total in the conference.
