The New York Jets have debuted a new alternative helmet going into the 2026 season, and they’ll wear it for the first time against the Green Bay Packers in Week 2 of the regular season. To go along with the all-white helmet, the Jets are planning a “white out” for their home opener this year, meaning that the Packers will be wearing a “home” uniform on the road at least once in 2026.

This is your reminder that it’s about to be uniform season for the NFL. Most of the league’s alternative uniforms will start being released or leaked leading up to Madden’s release on August 13th.
This is notable for Packers fans, since Green Bay will get a new alternative uniform in 2026, which we have yet to see. The Packers are up in Nike’s “Rivalries” rotation, which will give the entire NFC North and AFC South new uniforms.
