Mark Pope and his staff have built a solid roster for their second season in Lexington. With plenty of high hopes for a deep March run, the BBN is excited to see this roster finally get to work.
One of the biggest mysteries on this roster this season, though, is Croatian big man Andrija Jelavic. After finally arriving in Lexington this past week, we will start to get a sense of how talented the European really is.
How good do many expect him to be, though? Well, according to NBA Draft On-Point, Jelavic
is ranked as a top-20 international prospect in college basketball next season. Jelavic comes in ranked at No. 20 on the list of 50 players. He is the 4th-ranked international player according to the rankings in the SEC.
Going to be interesting to see how Jelavic does in Pope’s system. Should be a fun time watching his game develop this season.
