Good morning, baseball fans!
The San Francisco Giants are back at it tonight with another home game against the visiting Arizona Diamondbacks.
In the meantime, I wanted to share a fun video from the Giants’ social media team over on their YouTube channel.
In the video, Glen Kuiper sits down with Giants’ shortstop Willy Adames. The two begin by discussing Adames’ free agency and the process of him becoming a Giant. Adames says that the Giants’ clearly expressed display of interest, as well as the storied
history of the franchise, really caught his attention and helped make his decision.
Adames discusses how important it was to him to find a team that would embrace him, and how important it was to him to be able to embrace the team and community as well. (He also mentions the great food in the Bay Area. I don’t know how high that ranked on the list of priorities, but he definitely made a good choice on that front.)
