Like the main roster shows, WWE’s developmental/third brand gets a little downtime during the holiday season — more than the Raw and SmackDown roster, actually. NXT wraps its year with a pair of pre-taped
episodes, and they filmed those on Wednesday (Dec. 17) at the WWE Performance Center in Orlando. That means SPOILERS for both episodes that will continue the build to Jan. 6’s New Year’s Evil-themed show.
Here’s what’s coming our way on The CW the last two Tuesdays of 2025, per Bodyslam’s Patreon:
Dec. 23
- Lola Vice def. Izzi Dame in a match that saw Tatum Paxley chase Shawn Spears off with a chain saw. Kelani Jordan attacked Vice post-match.
- Blake Monroe cut off new Women’s North American champ Thea Hail’s promo, leading to the announcement of a New Year’s Evil rematch of their title bout from this week’s show.
- Tavion Heights def. Eli Knight
- A face-to-face between Je’Von Evans and Ricky Saints sets up General Manager Ava making a match between them for the Dec. 30 show.
- Shiloh Hill and Skylar Raye def. Stacks and Ariana Grace in a Christmas Chaos Match
- Lexis King def. Andre Chase
- Chelsea Green def. Sol Ruca to retain the Women’s United States title. Moose chased Green’s mixed tag partner Ethan Page off at one point, but Secret Her-vice member Alba Fyre was still on-hand to ensure Green kept her singles belt.
Dec. 30
- Paxley cuts off Dame’s promo, and Tatum vs. Izzi is official for New Year’s Evil.
- NXT Women’s champion Jacy Jayne def. Wren Sinclair, presumably in a non-title match. Fatal Influence beat down Sinclair post-match, but Kendal Grey saved her friend and posed with Jayne’s belt ahead of their New Year’s Evil title match.
- Tavion Heights def. Lexis King in a squash
- OTM def. Swipe Right
- A Joe Hendry concert is crashed by DarkState while Tony D’Angelo mysteriously watches on.
- Ethan Page def. Moose to retain the NXT Men’s North American title
- Ricky Saints def. Je’Von Evans, but needed a ref bump, a low blow, and a Roshambo to do it.
We’re also supposed to find out the Year-End Award winners, but these seem like full shows. Do they interest you enough to add NXT to your end-of-2025 plans?
