Regardless of how badly the Dodgers have played of late, they are going to make the postseason this year. That much is a given, but when said playoffs might start for Los Angeles remains to be seen. However, we now have the schedule that will define when the Dodgers might play this October.
Major League Baseball on Monday unveiled the schedule for the 2026 postseason, which is very similar to previous years, following the same rubric.
The regular season ends on Sunday, September 27, and the wild card
round — four best-of-3 series all at the home park of the higher-seeded team — runs from September 29-October 1. NBC, Peacock, and NBC Sports Network have the wild card round now, after years on ESPN/ABC.
Fox Sports has the National League side of the playoffs this year on Fox and FS1, with TNT Sports running the American League side through TBS and truTV.
NLDS schedule

The ALDS has the extra day this year, between Games 1 and 2, so that both leagues are staggered during this round and there aren’t guaranteed days with no games.
