Josh Emmett is ready to welcome Kevin Vallejos to his first UFC main event.
Friday’s official weigh-ins for UFC Vegas 114 went off without a hitch, as headliners Emmett and Vallejos successfully hit the featherweight mark at 146 and 145.5 pounds, respectively. Both fighters made use of the one-pound allowance for a non-title fight.
Emmett is currently No. 12 at 145 pounds in the MMA Fighting Global Rankings, but his spot in the top 15 is tenuous as the one-time interim title challenger has lost four
of his past five fights. He’s in tough against Vallejos—a fighter 16 years Emmett’s junior—who is 3-0 in the UFC since being signed off of Dana White’s Contender Series in 2024.
Co-main event strawweights Amanda Lemos (ranked No. 6) and Gillian Robertson (No. 11) are arguably in the most high-stakes bout on the card, with the winner potentially moving on to a UFC title shot with an impressive performance. The fighters both weighed in at 116 pounds.
All 28 fighters competing Saturday at Meta Apex in Las Vegas successfully made weight.
