It’s the final day of September, everybody. And while we haven’t had a Juventus game for a week and a half now, it feels appropriate to roll out something that we will be making a regular feature here on this blog as the 2026-27 season goes on.
Yes, it’s the monthly MVP award.
As we know from yesterday’s question, the sample size of games is still small when it comes to evaluations.
The difference, of course, is that was with the caveat of it being of the “so far” variety. This one is just about the previous
month — and a couple of games in late August thrown in, too — and who the best of all Juventus’ players to log some minutes actually was.
Six games played in all competitions. Some players were better than others. A couple of players had some appearances that they would all like you to forget (and maybe you have with how long this international break will end up being).
But there are options. And not necessarily because the bar is so low with how poorly the team is playing or anything like that. (Yes, of course, it hasn’t all been pretty, but Juventus have done more winning than losing so far this season, and that has been nice — especially when you consider all of the injuries currently hampering this team.)
So, with all that being said, the Juventus Question of the Day is this: Who was your Juventus MVP for the opening month (plus) of the 2026-27 season?
