The San Antonio Spurs just lost Game 4 of the 2026 NBA Finals in historic fashion, blowing a 29-point lead to fall to the New York Knicks, 107-106. They’ll have three days to think about their sins. Game 5 doesn’t happen until Saturday. But that doesn’t change the fact that when these two teams suit up again, New York will hold a 3-1 lead in the best-of-seven contest.
The question for you today is easy: Do the Spurs have any chance anymore? Can you see this going to seven games? It’s struck me that
the public-opinion pendulum has swung wildly with each win or loss in favor of one or the other of the combatants. Is there one more big swing left in this series?
