For the second consecutive season, the Buffalo Bills are hosting a team from the state of Florida in a Nationally televised Week Three contest. While they demolished the Jacksonville Jaguars last year, winning 47-10 in a game that somehow wasn’t even that close, they face a familiar for this time around in the Miami Dolphins.
Nothing has gone right for Miami so far this season, but divisional games present their own unique challenges. The teams know each other well. The stakes are higher, as well,
given that the winner of these games positions themselves best for home games in the postseason. For the Bills, they’re on a mission to win the AFC East for the sixth consecutive season. For the Dolphins, they’re trying to avoid their first 0-3 start since the 2019 season.
Quarterback Josh Allen has dominated the Dolphins throughout his career, throwing 37 touchdowns and rushing for five more in just 14 career games. Conversely, Miami quarterback Tua Tagovailoa has struggled against Buffalo, throwing nine touchdown passes against ten interceptions in his nine games against them. Will those trends hold tonight? We’ll have our answer shortly.
