Frost Bank (Frost) and the San Antonio Spurs announced the launch and design for their new co-branded debit card, combining two iconic Texas brands. The Spurs x Frost Debit Card, available now, unlocks exclusive benefits and rewards for both new and existing Frost checking account customers.
The card offers specials on Spurs home game tickets, discounts on Spurs merchandise at the Fan Shop, and VIP
access to the exclusive Frost Club at the Frost Bank Center.
The design depicts the Spurs logo in silver on a black background, complete with Frost’s branding and all the security measures of Frost’s other card designs.
Jimmy Stead, Frost’s chief consumer banking officer stated,
“We set out to design a card that Spurs fans would love and that would give them a piece of fandom in their pocket. Using the Spurs court as the design inspiration with both the Spurs and Frost logos honors our organizations’ longstanding relationship. We’re proud to offer this card to existing customers and new ones.”
Frank Miceli, chief commercial officer for Spurs Sports & Entertainment added,
“This marks the first time we’ve ever offered a debit card with Spurs benefits, a vision that was able to become a reality by leaning into Frost’s localized and innovative banking expertise to determine the most appealing benefits for our shared customer base.”
