It’s time to take a look at the results of our SB Nation Reacts polls for this week about our Minnesota Vikings, so let’s see what our readers thought about our questions this time around.
Our first question is the same question we ask every week, which is how confident everyone is that our favorite team is moving in the right direction. As one of the last three undefeated teams in the NFL. . .however they may have gotten there. . .fans still seem to be relatively happy about how things are going
to this point in the season.
Of those who responded to our poll, a full three-fourths of you feel that the team is, in fact, heading in the right direction. Yes, it hasn’t always been pretty, but the good guys have taken the field five times this year and have wound up on the right end of the final score on all five of those occasions. They’ve done it despite a bunch of injuries at key positions, including at the quarterback spot and missing Justin Jefferson for the better part of two full games, and they’ve just kept on emerging victorious. Hopefully things will start clicking on the offensive side of the ball at some point the way they have on defense and special teams.
Speaking of injuries, the Vikings appear to be ready to welcome back four very important players this coming Sunday when they face the Indianapolis Colts. All of them missed the Week 5 game in New Orleans, and one of them missed even more than that. But of those four returning players, which of them is going to have the biggest impact with their return? Well, we asked and you answered.
Of the four returning players, the majority of you decided that offensive tackle Christian Darrisaw’s return will make the biggest impact, with 45% of you who responded to our poll making him your choice. Right behind him was running back Jordan Mason, who hasn’t played since he sustained a thumb injury in Week 1, who was the choice of 35% of those who answered our poll questions. Tight end T.J. Hockenson, who had a big game in Week 4 before his early departure in Week 5, was picked by 19% of our respondents, and apparently nobody is hyped up for the return of wide receiver Jordan Addison, as he was the choice of just 1% of the people who responded to our poll for this week.
As always, we want to thank all of you who took the time to respond to our poll for this week, whether it was simply by voting in the polls or by sounding off in the comments section on top of that.
Those are your SB Nation Reacts results for this week, folks. We’ll have a new set of polls for you next week, so keep your eyes open for those!
