Welcome to another Saturday before the Detroit Lions are in action again. It’s a big week for the Lions, as the open up their divisional play with a home game against the Green Bay Packers. With the NFC North continuing to accumulate wins and top the NFC playoff race, this is becoming a pretty dang important game.
But instead of waiting until Sunday afternoon to see what happens, why not find out who will win on Saturday morning?
That’s right, it’s time for another Madden Simulation, and we’re going
to be streaming this one live on our YouTube and Twitch pages. Just how accurate have our simulations been? Check out our weekly results:
Week 1 vs. Saints
- Actual score: 31-30 Lions (OT)
- Madden score: 27-17 Lions (click link to watch the simulation)
Week 2 at Bills:
- Actual Score: 41-31 Bills
- Madden score: 31-23 Bills
Week 3 vs. Jets:
- Actual score: 31-24 Lions
- Madden score: 21-14 Lions
Week 4 vs. Panthers
- Actual score: 32-26 Panthers
- Madden score: 42-14 Lions
Week 5 vs. Cardinals
- Actual score: 45-21 Lions
- Madden score: 20-17 Lions (OT)
4-1. Pretty darn good.
If you haven’t yet watched one of our Madden 27 simulations, here’s how they work. I adjust the lineups as close to what I think they’ll be on Sunday based on the latest injury reports. Then, we’ll pick some silly uniforms for each team. Then I take my hands off the controller and let the computer control each team to see what happens. I don’t call plays. I don’t make substitutions. Everything is computer controlled.
And as we watch the madness unfold, I’ll be narrating the game, answering your Detroit Lions questions, and having a good time.
So if you want to join, here’s all the info you need to know.
