The Pittsburgh Steelers have released veteran wide receiver Brandon Johnson, the team announced Tuesday. In correspondence with that move, Pittsburgh claimed punter Aidan Laros off waivers from the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
Johnson originally signed with the Steelers in August, 2024 after being released by the Denver Broncos. He appeared in three games in the 2024 season for the Steelers. He spent 2025 with the Steelers and Buccaneers on their respective practice squads, and re-joined Pittsburgh this
past April.
Johnson has appeared in 20 games throughout his career, catching 26 passes for 355 yards and five touchdowns.
