The Miami Dolphins lost their opening contest this past Sunday against the Raiders in Las Vegas. Adding injury to insult, their top pass rusher — third-year player Chop Robinson — suffered a concussion in that game and now finds himself in concussion protocol as the team prepares to face the San Francisco 49ers on the road in Week Two.
On Wednesday, the Dolphins released their first practice report of the week, and Robinson was listed as “limited” with his concussion. He was not known to have been
suffering from symptoms at any point during Sunday’s game, so he may have reported symptoms following the conclusion of the clash — or he may have suffered the concussion during Wednesday’s practice. We should find out more tomorrow.
Also on the injury report was quarterback Malik Willis — although he practiced in full with an apparent toe injury. Safety Dante Trader also practiced in full with a hamstring ailment.
Longsnapper Tucker Addington (shoulder) and rookie tight end Seydou Traore (thumb/achilles) both joined Robinson in practicing in a limited fashion.
Linebacker Ronnie Harrison was the only member of the active roster to miss practice while he deals with a hamstring issue.
