Broadcast details for BYU’s third game of the season are set. BYU plays at ECU Saturday, September 20 and the game will be at 7:30pm ET on ESPN2.
BYU is 2-0 on the season after a 69-0 win versus Portland State and 27-3 win over Stanford. This will be BYU’s first road game of the season and the first road start of Bear Bachmeier’s young career. BYU also
hits the road the week after ECU when they play at Colorado in the Big 12 opener. BYU has bye this week before heading to ECU.
ECU, meanwhile, is 1-1 on the year after a 24-17 road loss at NC State in their opener and 56-3 win over Campbell this past weekend. ECU hits the road to play at Coastal Carolina this Saturday before hosting BYU.
ECU’s offense will easily be the toughest test BYU’s defense has seen so far, which isn’t saying much. Senior QB Katin Houser has thrown for 680 yards in two games, including 366 yards in the opener at NC State. Houser started his career at Michigan State and threw for 2,006 yards last season for the Pirates.
