Noted pundit Didi Hamann can see the joy that Harry Kane plays with for Bayern Munich and how happy he is being a part of this rampaging Bavarians squad.
Hamann is so convinced by what he sees that he does not think that Kane will go back to the Premier League to chase Alan Shearer’s record.
“I think that formal talks about an extension are no further along. They are taking it pretty easy. He seems to be very settled and happy here,” Hamann told Thunderpick. “I don’t really see him going back to the Premier
League because if you leave two or three years ago, and now you’re two or three years older, then you go back. Obviously, a lot of talk has been made about the Premier League record of Alan Shearer, which he probably won’t break now.
“Barcelona have been mentioned, but I think it’s a lot more likely he’s going to finish his career here than go back to the Premier League. I’d be surprised if he plays in the Premier League again.”
If Kane wanted to leave, he would have his choice of clubs. That said, most are expecting the Englishman to ink a new contract with Bayern Munich this summer.
