FSU fell back under .500 on the season on Saturday, scoring a season-low 10 points in a loss to Clemson as the Seminoles remained winless on the road since their November 2023 victory over Florida and dropping Mike Norvell’s record in ACC play to 21–25:
Florida State, needing to now win two of its next three games to secure bowl eligibility for just the third time under Norvell, will have its best shot at securing a victory this weekend vs. Virginia Tech. According
to FanDuel, the Seminoles are 13.5-point favorites over the Hokies, with the over/under set at 54.5.
Basketball
FSU men’s basketball moved to 2-0 on the year with a 101-64 win over Alcorn State, going over the century mark in points in consecutive games for just the second time in school history:
Even after racking up wins and points, head coach Luke Loucks is emphasizing that it doesn’t matter if the process behind the wins doesn’t live up to the standard he’s looking to establish in Tallahassee:
FSU women’s basketball faced a tough test in a road matchup vs. the No. 1 UConn Huskies, falling 99-67:

He later added another pool record in the 200 individual medley, touching the wall in 1:44.92.
