Barcelona match-winner Raphinha said patience was the key to Saturday’s 2-0 La Liga win over Osasuna.
The Catalans had to wait until the 70th minute to break the deadlock, with Raphinha opening the scoring
and then bagging a second to seal the win
The Brazilian spoke to the media after the game and said Barca knew it would be a tough game.
“These wins are very important and give the team confidence to keep adding points,” he said.
“Osasuna defended very well and we had to play a very good game. Patience was key to scoring the first goal. It could have come in the 80th or 90th minute. You have to be prepared. We knew it would be difficult to score the first goal.
“I think things are going very well. We need to focus on ourselves, and in the end, that’s the most important thing. If we do our job well, we don’t have to worry about anything else.”
Barca now switch focus to a Copa del Rey tie in midweek before wrapping up their La Liga campaign against Villarreal.
