Barcelona midfielder Marc Casado could be heading to Real Betis as speculation continues to swirl about his future.
Casado has been tipped to depart this summer after finding game time hard to come by, with Monaco linked with the 22-year-old midfielder
An update on the situation from Diario Sport now claims that Real Betis are also keen on Casado. Manuel Pellegrini’s side want to reshape their midfield and are targeting the Barca star.
Casado doesn’t really want to leave Barcelona but is aware of his
situation and that he’s likely to spend the majority of next season on the bench if he does stay
The midfielder is therefore set to prioritize a move to a club where he can play a leading role. Betis have already make an enquiry and can also offer Champions League football next season.
One stumbling block is likely to be the price, with Barca hoping for around 20 million euros for their academy graduate.
However, the relationship between the two clubs is good which could help the deal progress if all parties are keen.
