What little data we get about the performance of WWE Raw on Netflix is here. It comes from the streamer itself via their Tudum website.
Tudum ranks Netflix’s Top 10 shows by weekly number of views, which
it calculates by dividing the time all subscribers spent watching a program by its duration. The default is a global ranking, which is also the only one where Netflix shows its work (e.g. the numbers behind the ranking). You can view the Top 10 for each country Netflix is in, but that only gives you a ranking, no numbers. Similar ranked lists are available for shows in English, one for shows in all other languages, and corresponding Top 10s for movies.
The latest Raw we’re getting Netflix’s numbers for streamed live from Evansville, Indiana on Sept. 22, and featured fallout from Wrestlepalooza, including WWE champ Cody Rhodes, Women’s World champ Stephanie Vaquer, and Asuka & Kairi Sane turning on Rhea Ripley & IYO SKY to close the show.
It had 2.3 million views. That’s 300,000 less than the previous episode, and the lowest figure Netflix has reported for any episode by 200K. It only dropped Raw one spot in the global rankings though, as the red show was in 8th place for the seven-day span that ended on Sept. 28. In the United States, Raw remained in 4th place. For comparison sake, Netflix’s most viewed show from Sept. 22-28 was the limited series Wayward with 8.2 million views.
Netflix is tracking a week’s worth of viewing, but it’s worth wondering how much of Raw’s audience still watches live. Monday Night Football led the way on television Sept. 22, as it always does this time of year. Programming Insider had the Detroit Lions win over the Baltimore Ravens getting a 5.61 rating with 18-49 year olds on ABC and ESPN on the night, from approximately 22 million total viewers.
We’ll keep tracking Raw’s “views” data here… until it slips out of the global Top 10, and then it seems like we’ll stop getting any. But we’re gonna pass along whatever information we do get, and add it to our regular rundown of Raw’s TUDUM-reported performance for each episode of the Netflix Era:
