2026 NWSL expansion club Boston Legacy officially has its front-of-jersey sponsor, T.J. Maxx.
T.J. Maxx’s first-ever team sponsorship will focus on players’ off-the-pitch style, including content highlighting
players’ stadium entrance outfits. T.J. Maxx has already collaborated with NWSL players in the past, including Seattle Reign’s Jordyn Huitema for TV commercials.
“T.J. Maxx will have the opportunity to style our athletes, to give our athletes access to styling services and a chance to really build out their own wardrobes,” said Legacy FC CRO Amina Bulman, who was hired from the Commanders earlier this year. “T.J. Maxx will be featured in content that highlights athletes’ style off the pitch, and so it’s also a chance for players to build their own personal brands and share their stories as well.”
Bulman said select Legacy FC merchandise will be available in T.J. Maxx locations throughout New England. That won’t include jerseys, however, which are only sold directly through team and league channels.
T.J. Maxx is headquartered in Massachusetts, establishing a local but powerful partnership with Boston Legacy FC.
Boston Legacy FC’s commercial agency, Excel Sports Management, has led the sponsor search. Bulman shared that the team has also recently closed deals for other marquee sponsorship assets, which could include other kit placements and naming rights for the team’s facilities. Those deals will be announced in the coming months.
