What is the story about?

In this week’s SB Nation Reacts survey, we asked you how far you think the Washington Mystics would go in the 2026 WNBA season. More specifically, how far will they go in the playoffs?

Our survey results indicated that a solid majority of fans believe Washington will make it to the second round or further. Forty-six percent said they will make the WNBA semifinals but lose in that round, while 11 percent believe the Mystics will make the WNBA Finals and be the league

runner-up. Six percent believe that the Mystics will win the 2026 WNBA championship. The remaining 37 percent of respondents believe the Mystics will make the playoffs but lose in the first round.

FanDuel, who is quite stingy with the Washington Wizards’ postseason chance, isn’t so harsh on the Mystics. That said, they are not the favorites to win the 2026 WNBA championship.
